I did some Ilford RC prints for a friend a few years back. He
dry mounted them and framed them, but not behind glass. I know
they recieved proper fixing and washing, but they bronzed up in
big splotches. Quite disgusting. I realize that toning improves
permanence, but I really don't think we should have to tone
prints to make them last longer than six months, which is how
long it took these ones to go sucky.
