$20.00 for a spotty is a good price. If the shutter speed only goes to 500 its a SP500.If it goes to 1000 it could be 1 of several.A plain spotty or a SP1000. JCO is one of our M42 experts so i'm sure he'll jump in soon. They are pretty basic cameras but i and many others here still have them. They take wonderfull pictures and lens's for them can be found still at decent prices.Plus they are built like tanks.LOL Welcome to the list. Dave Brooks
