DA lenses work on that (and so will every lens Pentax or third parties have produced to this day). As long as I have the camera, the lenses are viable. I have CF cards, I have a way to read the data the camera produces and I have a way to print my images. And I have rechargeable AA batteries and a charger. Unless electricity changes in the future so that I can't charge my AAs or they discontinue the production of AA batteries (lithium, rechargeable or otherwise; for it would seem that my only limitation is power for the camera), I can continue to produce images using DA lenses on my *ist D regardless of Pentax's future endeavors or demise. -- Christian [EMAIL PROTECTED]
