Pentax doesn't state sales by countries, only by regions, but the US is 
significantly larger than the domestic market. approximately 60-70% of 
Pentax's camera sales are outside Japan. by region, it's Americas, Europe, 
and then a tossup between Japan and the rest of Asia and Pacific.

So which countries are bigger?  Bear in mind I said "country", and I was 
referring to the market for DSLRs.  The EU, for instance, is not a 
country.
