Jon,
There are two reasons to buy the LX. To use it or to collect it. If
you are going to collect it then anything said here is really
irrelevant. If you want to use it you have to ask yourself in what
ways the LX will be better than the MZ-S.
Will you use the interchangeable finders?
Will you use the off the film metering?
Do you need a camera that is that well sealed?
How important is autofocus to you?
Do you want to use digital TTL flash?
You can probably add a few questions yourself. I've handled LX's and
they do feel wonderful in your hands. The way the grip fits perfectly
in your hand, the smoothness as you wind the film on by hand, the feel
of cold metal... it really is great. The MZ-S feels good too though.
It's your choice. I do hope you still get the FA35f2 though because I
haven't seen one yet and I wanted to see your's when I'm over in Perth!
