That's exactly what it is - the DS2, a second version of the same camera. It's got the filters and a larger LCD screen on the back, perhaps one or two other minor changes. Kind of like a "dot" release for software. As for the price, well, the camera's not out yet. So while the pundits and press people are suggesting "under $800.00" who can say how much under it will finally list for, and what the street price might be. And don't forget, while a few places on the net are selling the DDS at $650.00 or under, quite a few places, net or regular photo stores, are selling it for closer to$700.00 or even $800.00. Shel
