if it is that close in power at the same zoom and ISO settings, then i would
get the Pentax. i need a second flash anyway for macro work, and i much
prefer the Pentax user interface and build over the Sigma.

The sigma is GN 50m @ 100ASA, 105mm zoom reflector setting. The Pentax
one is GN 54m @ 100ASA, doesn't say what zoom thats at.
