Yes, I'm sure it's complicated, if at all possible. It's all very small (surface mount?). What I meant was, that Pentax should offer this improvement to all D-owners as an affordable compensation for wating a long time for a better speced Pentax DSLR. Some thingy to plug in instead fo the CF card - including a conneaction to a CF card which would then get a new place - inside a screw on battery grip. A combinded battery griƄp and CF card cpmpartment (the additional buffer/CPU would be where the CF card used to be. I would gladly pay 200-250 USD for a buffer the same capasity as the DS has. My alternative to this is to shoot JPEG's in stead of RAW. I don't want to. The last alternative is getting another camera, of course. Regards Jens Bladt http://www.jensbladt.dk

I'm sure it IS possible. But someone would have to take the risk of saying goodbye to his D and find someone to: * open it * find the type of memory chips it has * find which bigger memory chips it could replace them with * manage to do it * Hope it'll work, cross his fingers and turn it on ... 2006/1/15, Jens Bladt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > I agree, actually - it would be very usefull.
