Thanks for the explanation Godfrey (and for the news re RAW, Paul). The above is the point I am making. It's horses for courses, but I don't (want to) do any of that; I just go to the same lab all the time and, as far as I can tell, the prints are conistent batch after batch after batch. William, I guess you are out of it anymore, but do you have an updated projection for the end of mainstream film? Anyone?
