For which proper regular service requires lubricating head, wheel and bottom bracket bearings, adjusting head bearing tension, checking brake friction material, checking shift mechanism adjustment and wear, lubricating and adjusting the chain free play (replace if overly worn), and making sure all frame and running gear bolts are properly tightened and not corroded. Simpler and less to do, of course. I just did mine this morning...
