I ended up with a Samsung Synchmaster 19" flat screen, .20 dot pitch. I am using it as my primary, and I have a cheapo Daytek piece of junk that came with the computer sitting just above and to the right of it as the secondary. My film scanner sits below the Samsung (I built a stand that raised the monitor about 5 inches) and my printer sits below the second monitor. It is not the best set up, as the second screen is high up, but it is also easy to ignore if I am not actually looking at it. This is a good thing, as it really is a crappy monitor.
