Hi William Of course people react according to past experience. That is a given. That is also understood about the situation. All it does, though, is reinforce my opinion that they (those inside the car) made a complete hash of the situation. They decided to drive as fast as possible from a situation. They decided to not take measures to maximise their personal safety. They alone paid the price of those decisions by being killed in an auto crash. One could say it was a proving of the old maxim, "danger is nature's way of eliminating stupid people". Cheers Jon Relax!
