I could see no signs of vignetting, which is what I was expecting to see. I then tried the same thing with the A 20mm f/2.8 and also saw no signs of vignetting in the finder. I opened the back and tripped the shutter on B, and was able to see a full image circle from the corners of the film plane. Focussing is fine, and metering is fine. I had always thought that there would be serious vignetting with a wide angle and a teleconverter. I am not saying there won't be with some combination, but with the two lenses I tried and the teleconverter I tried, it appears to be a viable combination.
