The answer to this question varies widely depending on what cellular network you're on. Some work fairly reliably at the nature museum (half way up the mountain), some get reception at the topmost parking lot. Oddly enough, I get the best signal (I'm on Sprint) at the *lowest* parking/viewing area, but that's closest to the picnic/camping area so it's usually convenient for me. Norm Baugher seems to get good reception everywhere but that's his curse.
