P.J., I've thought the same thing often; I'd love to give my prime
lenses double duty, like using the 50mm f/1.2 on full-frame for a
low-light normal FoV. Saves me having to buy a DA* 30mm f/1.2 (ha ha
ha ha).

I'm not going to hold my breath though.
