I was using the focus confirm "beep" w/ a PZ1-p and my ancient
85mm f1.9 SuperTak in a dark theater setting (dress rehersal)
and found it a wonderful feature. To get it I slipped a thin
piece of aluminum foil between the lens and the PZ1-p's contacts
to "fool it" into thinking it had a newer lens.
Film was TMZ @12,800asa and I was using f4-5.6 @ 1/500th-1/250th
"Hit Ratio" of in-focus shots was very good, even w/ moving targets
