I use an MZ-3.  Although autofocus will not work with manual focus lenses, 
the 'in focus' diamond appears in the viewfinder when the lens is in focus.  
I find that this is a little 'iffy' but does sometimes help with ageing eyes.

Metering will revert to centre weighted with M lenses but you may also switch 
to spot metering - the multi-segment metering is not available.  With A 
lenses, all metering modes are available.
