Does it have any PCI cards for scuzzy or USB 2.0 ports? Belkin cards in particular cause startup problems. Is the scanner an Epson? I still can't get used to Lightroom. But I almost always do some PhotoShop work on stills in addition to conversion, so Im happy with my PhotoShop workflow. Lightroom would just add an extra step for me.
