The major thing it has going for it is 40MP... as always size trumps all. It's a borderline fringe product. Price is almost right. Sensor size and resolution are right. AF performance, can't say. Lens compatibility is good.
The question is, will it sell in the volume it needs to be profitable, considering many MF photographers have, annecdotally, switched brands? Anyone who wants it for $4K (Paul), while being a bargain-hunter is smart, certainly isn't doing Pentax any favors by denying them a profit. Tom C.
