Those of you with Facebook might be interested in this. It shows a few
streets that I haven't seen covered by the news.
The authorities are saying that about a third of the buildings in the CBD
will need to be demolished and you're going to bloody well believe it
after seeing this. In addition, they're also saying the area is likely to
remain cordoned for a few months. It's hard for me to comprehend the
impact that's going to have.

On a nicer note, my mother is currently doing some work at other rest
homes as her usual place is closed due to the damage. I am guessing they
need all the help they can get.
