The mercury cell is a px400, but they can be pretty hard to find, as
they've been illegal in many places for quite some time.  I think Varta
might have been one of the last to make them, but they've now stopped.

I've heard of some Spottie users who've used the alkaline replacements
successfully.  AFAIK, the only downside of alkaline is that they don't
last as long.  Maybe 6 to 12 months (?), as opposed to 10 years or more
for mercury cells.

They are wonderful cameras, aren't they?  :-)
