Excellent pics. Great to see two shots of my alma mater, the U of C. Wonderful 
view of the Midway through the Logan Center window. That building didn't exist 
in my day, nor did Mansuetto Library. 

The Midway was the centerpiece of the 1892 Columbian Exposition World Fair. The 
giant ferris wheel would have been right about in the lower left corner of your 
photo. The University was under construction at the time, and I believe it had 
begun holding some classes at the site.
