        to add to this:

        On the left side of the mirror box (same side as shutter
        speed knob) you will see the lens mount catch-switch which
        is aligned horizontally. If there is MLU, a similar switch
        will be located on the righthand side, but it will be
        aligned vertically - this is what to look for, a switch on
        each side   :^)

        Bill, who often will just sit down on the ground w/ the
        6x7 in the lap (w/o prism) on the ricebag, frame up the 
        shot and use the MLU at a 1/125th or faster shutter

        who amongst us still dare say the 6x7 be "an unwieldy behemoth"?
