Taka, Here is what my repair guy sez: There is a gear set in the motordrive that starts to wear out. The symptom is that as more film is advanced onto the take up spool, and more torque is required to drive the film, the gears start to jump teeth and fail to complete the drive cycle. Apparently, I am the fourth person this week to ask this question of him. Pentax Canada no longer supports the drive A, perhaps independant shops or Pentax in another country may be able to repair it for you.
