Lightroom 6.14 runs okay on MacOS Mojave. It runs “ok” on Catalina also, as
long as you installed Catalina over an existing Mojave system with LR already
installed. It’s the Adobe installer/license management app that doesn’t run on
Catalina preventing LR 6 installation.

My solution to this and other future Adobe nonsense is to freeze my 2012 Mac
mini at Mojave and use it as a backup for when I need to access currently
existing LR work. I purchased a new 2019 Mac mini with far more processing
power and RAM that came preinstalled with Catalina, and am building a new Adobe
free and MS free working environment on it for new work going forwards.

I see no purpose to moving backwards to assure compatibility with already
obsolete software.
