Hey, Ann, I also had a folk music show on my college radio station. Never interviewed a piper, but did get to participate in interviews of Pete Seeger and Joan Baez. Joan brought I young lad with her, who said nothing. I later realized it was Bob Dylan, and I missed my chance to talk to him while Joanie was blathering away.
BTW, there is a great book about college radio: https://smile.amazon.com/College-Radio-Days-Broadcasting-Dartmouth/dp/0615893201/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=College+Radio&qid=1588597432&s=books&sr=1-3 Dan Matyola *https://tinyurl.com/DJM-Pentax-Gallery <https://tinyurl.com/DJM-Pentax-Gallery>* On Tue, May 5, 2020 at 2:03 PM ann sanfedele <ann...@nyc.rr.com> wrote: > Mike - in 1958 I interviewed a bagpiper named George Armstrong.. on my > college radio folk music show..
