havent posted any 100% MF scans yet but
I'm getting fantastic scans with the 2450
using 6X7 originals. In fact I did some 8.5X11
scans/prints yesterday using 35mm!!! Fuji superia
film that are mind blowingly good. Hell,
If i had known this kind of quality was possible
with 35mm I might not have even bought my
$5k 6X7 gettup.....But one thing is for sure,
the epson 2450 is an outstanding scanner and
its ideal for 6X7 and 4X5 originals. At $350 its
a no-brainer..........BTW 2400 ppi is more than adequate
for 6X7 or larger origianls IMHO, like I said
its giving me beautiful results even with
35mm, so you can imagine how good it is with MF or LF.
2nd BTW, its a top notch flatbed too.
