You have to look at the film to really see what is going on. I find 
it easier to examine slides than negatives. I think just about any 
100 speed, or slower, slide film is fine. Just make sure you use a 
tripod and good technique. The most difference between the lenses 
will be at wide apertures. So do most of your shooting there, and 
focus carefully.
