Dean,
Nobody says you have pay first? It is a generic message, I was a member
of the Forum and we had not updated (nor made any indication we were on the
cusp) at that time. Send in your request, you probably won't be turned away
unless you have been known to be disruptive.
Just the fact that they are posting the message here means something,
right? They haven't written all this forum's membership off already.
I would suggest sending a nice email to the forum admin email. Give
them your name, company, address, email address and a desired password.
Everything they ask for in the auto sign-up page. If you don't have a valid DXP
license I don't believe the auto-signup will work. Didn't seem to for me, so I
just sent an email to their admin address, was signed up inside of a day. You
may want to explain that you are just monitoring so that you know when you
should push your manager to upgrade. Doesn't hurt to try and like I said they
treated me just great.
Sincerely,
Brad Velander

So much for us non-upgraded 99SE types to be able to see what's going on
with the new stuff ... Used to be able to read, and even post. Now we
can't even read until we've blown the $$$.
Thanks Altium. Way to go.
