Not quite Steve.
For direct reply, you hit the "Reply to Post" link in the message instead of the Reply button of your mail program. Then you get the reply window with quote inside. I have 8Mbps ADSL access, but I think you must have a very slow access to really notice the delay.

Actually they let me stay subscribed to the AD (was DXP) list just for
asking. I still want to monitor that to see if or when it might be worthwhile to upgrade. The new setup is harder to respond to, though - instead of just hitting
reply (like here, and their old list as well), you have to jump thru some
hoops into their website. Seems like a common thread. Ah well....
