In the US, we think of electric currents as flowing from the positive to negative terminals, and this is how science is taught at both the primary (K-12) thru collegiate levels, including BS, MS, and PhD (I can't speak for those who teach themselves, as they don't generally fall within the realm of the "norm"). At advanced educational levels, the discrepancy between the idea of physical movement and conceptual flow models is revisited and corrected, so while we (those who have been taught) know that electrons move from the negative to the positive, we still operate within the "hole flow" model. As does the rest of the world, if I'm not mistaken.
