Some have auto exemption due to being Medical etc. But I have not seen
a decent document explaining it in terms that apply as most seem to
assume 100's of K units a year.
From what I've read, even custom installations, like sound systems in a
theater,
need to have EMI and safety approvals. But, obviously, that is
impractical to
transport a room-sized installation to a testing lab. None of this
stuff makes any
sense to me, I'm in the same predicament. I hate to just refuse all
sales to Europe,
but I'm considering it. I sell single units to end users in most cases.
