Kerry,
I agree with what you said and I would like the changes that I make to
be global. I don't have your print queue problem. There are only 6
people in our office. I usually know if someone else is using the
printer. Anyway I just suggested in case it might help.

Ron--

Manually changing the print sizes for all the types of prints that we
anticipate having to do is our
workaround, also. Sometimes we forget, and the print queue is jammed.

What would be nice is a global setting of the default print sizes that
applies to the program as a
whole, not just a project, so that it carries over into each new
project, unless manually
overridden.

Considering all the other sophisticated features, this one shouldn't be
too hard....

This is positively a Protel/DXP issue, not an issue with the print
server or any other Windows
program; we run lots of other programs in our office and believe me only
Protel defaults to A4 paper
size if not manually told otherwise for every new project and every new
type of print-out.....not
the biggest problem in the world but definitely an irritation....

Best regards,

Kerry Berland
