Roger,
        I was trying to recall if this is the manner in which it acted if you 
didn't have full administrator rights when doing the install. Not having full 
admin rights did something like this if I recall correctly from the distant 
past.

        Other than that possibility, did you use proper caps when entering the 
letters of the access code. (I don't recall exactly if it is case sensitive but 
I would believe it is.)
