Are you conning us, Jon?

 

Actually the Sarah Connor Chronicles explored with some depth some of the 
ethical dilemmas involved with autonomous AIs. But I don't think it likely that 
they will ever be instantiated in a form that could pass for human, as they so 
often do in science fiction. That would impose gratuitous limits on their 
intelligence, not to mention the needless expense. Probably more likely to 
happen than time travel, though.
