Yes. That was not the focus of the talk. But the analysis of the phaneron is a direct corollary. See the citations in the last few slides. In particular, look at the article by the psychologist Philip Johnson-Laird. I have been discussing related issues with him, and I sent him a copy of a recent article which he liked very much.
