I believe that this judgment is a extraordinary shallow and incomplete view of
the bedrock of CSP’s philosophy and particularly in the origin of his
“existential graphs”.

Gary F. has provided a transcription of the bedrock of CSP’s views on the
bedrock of his beliefs.
Chemistry was his major at Harvard and, in his own words, remained his bedrock
from which his terminology evolved.

The assertion,
> Peirce's terminology for EGs evolved over the years from 1897 to 1911.

ignores the period from his birth, 1839 to 1897, a period of 58 years, during
which he developed the bedrocks of his belief systems.

If one is knowledgable about organic chemistry, one acknowledges that the
direct logical and scientific precursor of existential graphs was the
development of the logic of relations, as pioneered by his work in the early
1880’s.

Cheers
