WBAI has problems. . .as does FRESH AIR, where I once worked. . .all media outlets struggle with issues of democracy, public accountabliity, ideology, culture, politics. . .note I said WBAI -type (emphasis on type) stations. . .

just as good. . .why not bring back the New York Guardian with that moola. . .or establish about 20 Guardian-like papers throughout the land. . .
