There is an obvious reason to see the dichotomy. U.S. hegemonic power
and why it has that power limits the action of the left. If that
falls it opens the door much wider to change. I cannot predict that
the economic power and military might of the U.S. is going down, but I
can easily say now that those pillars of power promote barriers to
social equality. Those limits are obvious and making a left requires
we understand and work out strategies upon the scale. Reform of the
U.S. is either a challenge to the pillars of power, or stops the fall
of economic and military power of the U.S.
