Funny how somebody who I first ran into on the Internet 7 years or so 
ago was so obsessed with Cuba's irrelevance to the left has now become a 
self-appointed ambassador without portfolio. Maybe that's because Cuba 
is introducing the kinds of market mechanisms that Huato was so gung-ho 
over 7 years ago when he argued passionately for NAFTA.
