--------- I think Jim is correct here. Not very much of interest can follow the subject, "Most Marxists..." Any completion of that sentence is either trivial or nonsense or both. I am interested in seeing some further discussion of _functionalism_, since (a) I don't have the slightest idea what the term means and (b) I have several times on this list or the lbo-talk list been labeled a "functionalist." I would like to know more clearly what I'm being accused of in such cases.
