1) because of http://www.unicom.com/pw/reply-to-harmful.html
2) because Ask (the list manager) has emphatically stated that he
supports the notions presented in that document, and will set no
perl.org mail any other way

This list is set the way Ask wants it (and I want it too). No amount
of discussion will change that. End of story. Learn to push the
buttons for "wide reply" on your mail reader.
