I thought this had been the resolution. I hope it *is* the formalized resolution. It is simple and easy and leaves plenty of room on both sides of the velvet rope. If isLower isn't clear enough, I think you're right: [a-z] in Latin-1 is fine. I think it's clear enough, from where I'm sitting, but I only speak American. -- rjbs
