How about reserving a prefix for TAP related keys and allow/ignore
everything else?

Explained in another way:

  a prefix lowercased "tap-" for TAP

as practically the *opposite* of the idea with

  a prefix uppercase "X-" for users.

Did I overlook such an idea in your other posts?
