Nobody said anything about a planet. A clock should tell you how much time has gone by. If I get a time, sleep(1), and get another time, time 2 should be about time1 + 1 second, regardless of leap seconds, what planet I'm on, etc. Translating a timestamp into a date is a separate issue from keeping track of time itself, and should be handled separately. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
