Ah - I have been there already today, but I couldn't find a version for
Snow Leopard, only Lion and Mountain Lion. Nor could I find an archive.

I tried the link on the GitHub PDL OS X page, but the software to
which it points (gcc/f77) does not seem to reflect the F77 of the
text (there's no auto-install, and f77 isn't in the package).
