I quite understand your position and understand it, much as I'm saddened by it. I would personally like to thank you for having made the venue available for the past few months. Ray's comments were, I am sure, about a meeting I hosted, and I think I can vaguely recall the meeting because I was aware at the time that there were newcomers that we'd failed to get involved. The lack of space in our workshop is a large part of the problem, and I think that the LINX meeting venue was far more inclusive because of its openness. So, the quest begins for a new host - is there anyone here brave (stupid?) enough to throw their hat into the ring? I have made preliminary enquiries to a couple of potential outside speakers in the hope of getting the meetings going again, but obviously we'd need somewhere to host them if they are interested in coming! When (I hope it's not "if") we find a new venue, perhaps we can all do better at making a commitment to go and to let the host know where they stand more than an hour or two before the meeting.
