When you say "handled by us" do you mean you:
1) Write the sess_* files to a shared drive
2) Store them in the database
3) ignore them totally, who needs users anyhow?
4) some other option?

We have a centralized DB server. Sessions are handled by us, the
programmers, not the cluster.
