Sure. Tired of explaining this all the time (or searching up my explanation in the archives), I have added this as an RFC, and can be found here: http://cvs.php.net/co.php/phpdoc/RFC/pdf_problems?p=1

The glory goal is to use xsltproc with the DocBook XSL sheets and FOP.
It would be nice to do some tests with this tools now, and publish resulting PDFs online, so it can be decided whether it is OK for "mass production".
