Hi again: The first question should be what are you going to do with the scanner?
If you simply want something to scan images to put on web pages you can use a fairly inexpensive one. If you want to use it for some kind of digitally based reproduction you need to consider what kind of resultion you need. A high resolution scanner costs more. How much more?
